This presentation will discuss recent experiences in navigating field changes, design changes, and permit modifications efficiently and effectively. Lessons learned will be shared for projects that required revisions to their approved Stormwater Management Plan due to conflicts with varying field conditions or due to the reallocation of project funding. These case studies will address the importance of communication and transparency with the regulatory approving authority during design and construction. Case studies will focus on federal projects that included coordination with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, Maryland Department of Environment, and North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality.
