Overview
The Business Relations Committee functions as the liaison between the Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association and our annual conference sponsors and exhibitors.
Over the past several years, the committee has surveyed conference exhibitors and attendees to better provide value to our conference attendees and meaningful engagement between our exhibitors and their customers. Feedback from these surveys has been used to better design the layout of coffee break stations and food and beverage stations, timing and spacing of events between attendees and exhibitors during the program, and more prominent display of sponsor signage during the event.
Increasing engagement and participation by exhibitors and sponsors helps the organization keep overall conference registration costs down for all attendees and provides our local, state, federal, and non-governmental organization members a more cost effective means of interacting with each other and the preeminent professionals in the watershed management industry on an annual basis.
