Yes, presenters must register for the conference.

A person can be the main presenter for only 1 presentation (this includes participation in a session panel discussion).

You must register in order to enter the exhibit hall or attend any of the conference functions.

No, VLWA does not offer a 1-day registration.  The conference is only a day and a half, so this really wouldn’t make much sense.

Yes, we provide continental breakfast and lunch on Monday and Tuesday.  We also host a reception with light hors d’oeuvres on Sunday night and Monday night, morning and afternoon snacks on Monday, and morning snacks on Tuesday.

Yes, refunds are available for conference registration if the refund request is made by February 1 prior to the conference. Refunds are NOT available for exhibit space and sponsorship.

The conference program will be posted on the website as soon as it is developed.  Program development cannot start until all abstracts are submitted.

No, VLWA provides the proceedings in digital format.

Exhibit space location is selected by exhibitors on a first-paid, first-served basis.  Reserve exhibit space early for the best exhibit location.  The map of exhibit spaces cannot be generated until we have all exhibit space reservations.  In general, we start the exhibit location process about 2 weeks prior to the conference.

The website should automatically email a receipt.  Please contact us if you do not receive one.

Yes, we provide a list of all registrants (name and company) in the conference program, which is distributed at the conference.

VLWA provides all attendees with a certificate of attendance, which is given at conference check in.  The certificate includes the following language: “Attendance for the duration of this conference constitutes 12 contact hours of technical presentations and discussions related to water resources.” VLWA does not coordinate acceptance of CEU credits with other organizations.
